Saffron Woodcraft is Professor of Collaborative Social Science at the UCL Institute for Global Prosperity. She works with universities, public bodies, foundations and civic organisations to design research, develop policy-relevant evidence, and build participatory approaches to understanding prosperity and urban change.

Before joining UCL, Saffron co-founded Social Life — a Young Foundation social enterprise — with Nicola Bacon, and spent seven years at The Young Foundation leading work on social innovation, community empowerment, urban regeneration, and social sustainability.
